Our Humble Beginnings

From a small initiative to Uganda's leading beauty authority

Transforming Uganda's Beauty Landscape

Founded in 2009 by passionate Ugandans and officially registered on 27th April 2010 as a company limited by guarantee (Reg No: 80020001357929), the Federation of Uganda Salons and Beauty Professionals (FUSPro) is a non-profit organization dedicated to uniting salon operators and elevating industry standards.

Today, FUSPro represents 640 groups and 1 SACCO with a profiled membership of 19,226 salon operators across Uganda. We're on track to reach 300,000 registered members nationwide by 2028.

We provide comprehensive support to salon operators, barbers and beauty professionals through research-backed programs focused on technical skills development, career guidance, and capital/tools support. In 2020, we pioneered skills certification and expanded our SME capacity building programs, training hundreds of youths in practical entrepreneurial skills through our career guidance initiatives.

Our achievements are made possible by our passionate trainers and expert partners who help drive innovation while preserving Uganda's rich beauty heritage through sustainable business practices.
